Recruitment and Placement of  B Sc Graduates in Milagres College…..

Udupi, October 12, 2022: Milagres College always in the front-line, to utilise any opportunity, when it comes to help its students to find suitable jobs. On 10th October, 2022, its MCK Recruitment & Placement Cell took a giant leap by inviting students in the neighboring Colleges along with Milagrean’s, to participate in the Campus Placement Drive conducted by OPTUM, a subsidiary of United Health Group, Bangalore, who conducted tests, orientation for candidates for considering employment.

This time it was the turn of Science graduates (B.Sc), and it was also announced that soon there will be a  5 weeks crash course in Medical Coding for interested and selected candidates.

Vice President of Optum Group Mr Orivel Jimson DSouza lighted the traditional lamp to inaugurate the short stage programme, and briefed about the Company and its background and vision. Vice Principal of Milagres College Kallianpur, Prof Sophia Dias, presided over the event expressed her happiness and thanks to the Optum Group for choosing Milagres Campus. Among the aspiring job seekers a sizable number will be chosen for exhaustive training of five weeks.

In a well organised Placement Programme, Mr Clement Joel Sequeira, Mrs Mitchell Pinto, Ms Manjula Acharya were present to guide the students. Dr Jayaram Shettigar, IQAC Coordinator, Convener of Recruitment & Placement Cell Prof Karthik Nayak, Student leader Clifton DSouza and others were present and supported the proceedings which witnessed a strong participation of 50 plus enthusiastic Science graduates in the locality, and 30 of them appeared for tests.
