New Santhekatte Sunday market to Start from Coming Sunday.
Santhekatte, Kallianpur Dec 4, 2020: The famous weekly Sunday Market of Santhekatte has been shifted to the full fledged new building in front of Mount Rosary Church, next to Sri Aishakti Brahmalingeshwara Temple, Santhekatte from coming Sunday, December 6.
The marking has been done for the vendors to sit and sell their products. The place has been cleaned, new toilets has been constructed but taps and windows of these toilets has broken, some manholes have not been covered and hopefully the authorities will note them before coming Sunday to fix the cover to this manhole and repair the taps and glasses of the toilets.
Whatever the glitches in the finishing of this new building, the shifting of Sunday market will ease the crowding at the Santhekatte Junction on Sundays and will ease the movement of National Highway 66 traffic which is a great development in Santhekatte, Kallianpur.
