Print Catholic Sabha Kemmannu organizes ‘Prathiba Puraskar’ Day.
Kemmannu, September 12: Catholic Sabha Kemmannu unit organized ‘Prathiba Puraskar’ day on Sunday after the mass at the Church Hall. The function is held every year to honor outstanding students of the church. Due to prevailing situation only SSLC and PUC students, who have secured more than 80% were felicitated.
President of the Kemmannu Unit Mrs. Rita D’ Souza welcomed the gathered. Parish Priest Fr. Victor D’ Souza along with Fr. Edward Oliveira and ICYM President Mr. Shervin Oliveira were present on the dais.
In all 7 SSLC students and 3 PUC students were felicitated in the presence of their parents. Miss Chrissane Monis topped the SSLC group scoring 95.40% in CBSC stream and Miss Princivia Lewis scoring 95.40% under state syllabus. Master Joyson D’Cunha scored 94.66% in PUC Science.
Unit secretary Mrs. Cybil Lewis proposed the vote of thanks.
After the conclusion of the function, All the Teachers of the Parish were felicitated by giving a memento on account of Teachers Day, which was celebrated a few days ago.
