Kemmannu, May 9, 2019: On the second day of ongoing religious rituals and festivities at Sri Bhadrakali Maha Marikamba Temple at Gudiyam, Kemmannu, Sri Sri Sri Swasti Sri Bharathivarsha Charukirti Bhattraka Swamiji of Jain Mutt, Moodubidri joined and blessed the ‘Chandikayaga’. The Swamiji was welcomed at the Temple gate by Mr. Jayakrishna Shetty, President of the celebration committee and other dignitaries.
The day began with the ‘Sridevi Prathiste’ in the morning which was followed by ‘Chandikayaga’ at noon sponsored by Mrs. Vishalaxi Sadananda Shetty and Family of Baggarbettu, Gudiyam. ‘Annasatarpane’ was sponsored by Sarvajanika Ganeshthsva Samiti of Gudiyam. ‘Brahmakalasha Sthapane’ and ‘Durga Pooje’ were performed in the evening.
