Commemorating the suffering, crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ, the way of the cross was performed at the church at Kemmannu in the morning. Fr.Victor along with religious sisters and choir group members led the way of the cross. Large number of parishioners took part in the devotion and felt blessed.

As a prelude to the holy week, Kemmannu parishioners took part in the celebration of Palm Sunday. The palm leaves were blessed at the church compound near the grotto in the morning. Parish Priest Fr. Victor D’ Souza and led the brief prayers and message before the blessing. Holy water was sprinkled on the palm leaves and people proceeded to the church in a disciplined procession.
